The journey that led to the creation of The Nest Asia is one that blends personal experience with a deep commitment to helping others. It begins with My Loc, the founder of The Nest Asia, whose path as an expatriate herself shaped the foundation of the company.

My Loc’s story begins in a foreign country, where she, like many expatriates, encountered the challenges of adapting to a new life. Finding reliable information, connecting with the local community, and navigating daily routines were more difficult than expected. She soon realized that it was hard to find one place that offered all the answers she needed to make the transition easier.

After returning to Vietnam, My Loc found herself working closely with expatriates from all walks of life—people just like her who had come to Vietnam with hopes and dreams but were confronted by the similar challenges she had faced. In 2024, inspired by the shared experiences of her foreign friends, business partners and motivated by her own journey, My Loc founded The Nest Asia with a singular mission: to provide the ultimate guides and services for expatriates living in Vietnam.

She envisioned a website that would serve as a one-stop resource for everything an expat needs to navigate their new life—practical advice, cultural insights, essential services, navigating local laws and regulation, or just simply a sense of community. My Loc believed that every expatriate, whether new to the country or a seasoned traveler, should have access to the knowledge and connections that would help them thrive.

Her dream is for The Nest Asia to be known by every expatriate in Vietnam as the go-to source for living and settling in the country. Through her ongoing work with expatriates and local partners, My Loc is committed to helping the transition to life in Vietnam as smooth and fulfilling as possible.
